We call that ‘Hood Rich’. You keep the left side stock, and buy 2 fly ass rims for the right side, so everybody on the sidewalk thinks you’re ballin’.

Tuning companies do that at autoshows to advertise 2 different sets of rims simultaneously. I'm like 99.9% sure this was a show car for a tuning company. The shitty body kit and the fact that it only has 202 miles on it makes me pretty sure I'm right.

I put gunmetal gray rims on the rear axle of my RX-8 and silver rims on the front, all same rims though. I did it for 3 reasons:
-I had 2 good wheels left from my first RX-8, and it was quicker to just swap the wheels than to change the worn tires (though I have all the equipment needed).
-I wanted to mess with people
-Wabi-Sabi
Basically why I would love driving some mechanicaly perfect 30-40s car with patina.

Alright, somebody needs to buy that so that the current owner doesn't hurt himself and the car
